EDIT :

Thanks everyone for
the comments and likes on my work, I'm sorry I can't answer and thanks
everyone because there's too many of you who leave comments and add me
on watch. SO THIS IS A MASSIVE THANKS ! Hug

Then a second thing :

Nod THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS Nod,
so no need to tell me that breast/bust part isn't cover and all Rage I already know that, I'm the one who build it Wink/Razz, so please read before posting Wink/Razz

Btw,
IT'S NOT AN HISTORICAL ARMOR, as usual I make my craft for larp game, a
fantasy touch will be added (rohan's inspiration LOTR) so yes, might
have some parts of body uncover lol Nod,
I'm not going in a real fight so, no need to jump on your chair about
that and btw, I build my armor for myself and as I want it to be/look,
so it's my choice :) (Smile)

Description :
Here is the finally done collar for this set, with the underbust (still waiting for the metal part to finish it) to show how it looks :D (Big Grin) .

Shoulders will come and they'll be attached to the collar (and removabled).

I was currently building this set for playing a human female character in larp games, but soon I decided to use it for another character too, I'm gonna play (if all goes well) a Faun female this summer on this larp event : www.facebook.com/mondegaia?fre…
So pics from the set will come when it'll be done, in a human mode, and in a faun mode =P (Razz)

A male set will follow.

Made of :
- vegetal tan leather 2.5 and 3.5 mm thick
- waterbased leather dye, antik gel and paint, Ecoflo as usual with 5 différents colors (3 are my secret mix, 2 for the brown and 1 for the sylver part).
- faux fur added.

All is handmade, dyed, sewed, carved, designed and molded by me directly on measurments ;) (Wink)  .

Yes it might be... I wish I could go in there. But travel the Atlantic Sea is a bit...extreme in my opinion! Even for a comic-con XD

Yep for sure. We don't travel for the comic-con but to visit friends who live in Montreal, the Comic-con will be at the same moment so it would be stupid for us to don't take the opportunity and take a look at such a big thing :)

"Don't take inspiration?"  That's a helluva thing to say.  I agree that if someone made an exact copy, that'd be a crappy thing to do, but Imitation IS the sincerest form of flattery.  The only reason 3/4 of people come to this site in the first place is to get inspiration.  Geeeez.........

It's my right if I don't want to see people take inspiration isn't it ? my work, my time spending on creation, craft and all... so nobody have the right to tell me anything about that, that's why artist can make a deposit for their work, and that's why DeviantArt protect artist property.

BTW, beeing an artist, a real one, is to create your own stuff, so ... don't need to tell more I think ^^

When you see a work, like it and wanna make something too, that is one things. You see beautifull things, it's inspire you, and then you make the "artist process" by building your own thing with that, I've got no problem with that.
But taking inspiration by taking part of a creation (color, shape, design, carved when it come to leather), make a copy or make something similar ... how can I say that without beeing really unpleasant ..... NO! beeing an artist is to create your own things. That's what I wanna tell by "don't take inspiration" it's "don't make copy, or make a things with copy part telling it's "inspiration" " if you know what I mean.

I don't like the idea of FEMALE armor being a corset out of leather. (Especially since the corset is attributed to France during the late 16th century). But it's very well done none the less. A Female Celtic warrior may have worn something like this www.ancientmilitary.com/images…
