Celtic Female Armor set - WIP 2 by Deakath Photoshoot 2013 : Druchii female Armor by Deakath Photoshoot 2013 : Chaos Female Armor by Deakath Chaos female armor by Deakath Chaos male armor by Deakath Photoshoot 2013 : Chaos Male Armor by Deakath

This is my first leather armor, take more than 2 month to be done. Each scales is hand carved and need 4 layers of colors.

Made of : veg tan leather 1.5 to 3.5 mm thick
                EcoFlo Leather dye and paint

ABOUT IT :
This armor is a fantasy style one, so yes I know, if you take only the armor, the protection isn't really ... well you know what I mean ^^. But this one was only done to be wear with an under belly protection, and you can see it on the other pics of the final armor.

My inspiration was the druchii from the world of Warhammer RPG, mixed with Dragon because I really love them (especially in Game of thrones)

Thanks everyone to like my work ! :D

Not for sale, unique piece, won't be replicate (can make similar things, but not the same).
Design property belongs to Deakath, do not take inspiration or make copy of this work.
If you wanna use my work for an other things than crafting, ask me first !:) (Smile):D (Big Grin)

I am currently trying to make female armor, but i cant figure out how to shape the breast cups - do you just use water for that or? :D

How much would something like this cost? Curious as I am in the market for armor. Specially dragon armor.

This kind of armor, even if it's not a full heavy badass set^^, is expensive because of the scale, I do not use a tool because the look isn't so good, so they all are made by hand .... so it takes time and prices grows up with it.
Can't say prices like that, too many things can make it evolved, so send me a note for that ;)

May I have another question?..how did you shape the shoulder protector? My friend told me to do it with hot watter...but I am not sure about complicated shapes like the green part here...Thanks :)

hi, just by using water, no need hot or cold (I use cold), just need for the leather to be wet enought to be shape (before using any dye).

More the leather is thin, easyer is the shape process.

Making few test before will be the better way to find the "wet enought" for your leather.
After, just let it dry completly and it's done :)

no honestly not, was just for us at the beginning, but now, with the fact that the actress Emilia Clarke (Daenerys from Game Of Thrones) take a look at the female armor and really likes it (yeah, she answers me on twitter) ..... I don't know, maybe, but it's extremly hard to find a way to enter this, so I prefer not dreaming to much :)

Thnx a lot for your comments !

Fbg is deadly, both the chemical unmixed and in cured form while trimming. Its the worse but it yields great results because of the mold really. There's another pain to make molds. Lemme see that mask...

lol its ok, its Da's fault no yours. I've done worse like someone telling to go visit their page and I went there and there was no deviations on the page, then I curse out the dude. Then later he's got like 400 deviations and a million comments. Apparently there was a glitch
